The abstract painting "Universe 5-IV-71 #200" (1971) by Korean modern art master Kim Whanki (1913-1974) is on view along with 16 other paintings by Kim at S2A, a new art space set up by apparel exporter Global Sae-A Group in Gangnam, Seoul. The business group’s chairman Kim Woong-ki bought the diptych for some 13.2 billion won ($10 million) at Christie’s Hong Kong auction in 2019, making the painting the most expensive Korean artwork. The exhibition titled "A Song Permeates Whanki Kim's Art" runs through Dec. 21.
